Alison Jane

I am a professional female photographer and digital artist based near Canterbury in Kent. I set up Alison Jane Photography in 2003 undertaking weddings and portraiture. Since I have developed the business and now concentrate on Model Portfolios, Boudoir and Glamour Photography, Maternity and Baby Photography.

I have lived in Kent for 8 years and shortly after moving here I decided to go for it and follow my passion to become a full time professional photographer. I studied hard and achieved a Diploma in Freelance and Commercial Photography. I also undertook courses on ‘All about the business of Wedding photography’ at the renowned Annabel Williams Studio in Cumbria, and ‘Shooting Weddings’ with one of the UK’s leading wedding photographers, Damien Lovegrove, all of which inspired me to follow my dream and gave me the foundations on which to build my business. I admire the work of Jerry Ghionis and Yervant who are world leaders in photography.

Being a mum of two gorgeous girls has given me all the opportunities I could wish for to take baby, children and teenage photographs. My girls are now 16 and 14 they have been photographed so much they are absolute posers, and I love them to bits.

I have a passionate viewpoint in my approach to photography and I insist on nothing less than perfection in my work. I love meeting new people and being given the chance to be the person that will capture moments in their life that they can cherish forever. I work hard to ensure that they receive my utmost professional attention and high quality images that they can enjoy.

Joanna Snell

Jo has been working with me for the last two years as a photographic assistant, helping me out at weddings and in the studio. Jo throws herself into her work with such enthusiasm and I love working with her.

Jo studied a Canterbury College and has graduated at NVQ 3 as a beautician and now works in Birchington when she isn’t at the studios so as part of our packages now we can offer a full    beauty make over aswell which is exciting and great for our clients.

She is a real asset to the team!

Juliette Harris Marsden

Our leading Make Up Artist and Hair Stylist has worked in the industry for over 20 years, Juliette gained a vast amount of experience in a variety of areas of the business such as magazine editorial, catwalk, advertising, TV/video and lecturing, as well as Weddings, Make-Overs and make-up and hair technique lessons.

Following her intense passion for fashion, hair and beauty, Juliette started her career working for Model Agencies and Advertising Agencies in London and the South East, having completed her training at Joan Price’s International Beauty Academy in the King’s Road, London. This gave Juliette numerous opportunities to work with many creative professionals in the industry, with a client list including Piz Buin, Beauty Without Cruelty, BT, Slendertone and the London College of Fashion. Celebrities she has worked with include actress/model Lysette Anthony (Three Up, Two Down) and actress Kate Hardie (The Krays). Her main influences are the works of Kevyn Aucoin and Sam McKnight.

In the last few years, since having a family, Juliette’s main focus has been on Weddings. It is the utmost honour to be chosen to provide such a personal professional service to the Bride and her Bridal party on her special day – an occasion when nothing but exceptional service and quality is required, and where there is no room for error or second chances.

Juliette is a joy to work with and has an amazing talent which adds such excitement to the whole makeover experience.
